LATTER LOVE draws inspiration from the childhood memories of its two directors, tracing emotions that are difficult to name. Tall grass, wastelands, the corpse of a cat by the sea embankment, and long hours of wandering are interwoven and collaged into dreamlike visual literature.
The work was produced using the DFD (Digital Film Digital) process. Digital footage was transferred to film, then scanned and output again in digital form, fully preserving the details and texture of real film stock.
